Winter Park just canceled. As the info comes in about refunding booth fees, I will post that when I know it. Or, someone else can if they get the word before I do.

It's been reported that Winter Park has refunded artists booth fees. On behalf of all the Winter Park artists, thank you.

From a Facebook post -- Juno Beach show just cancelled.

Here's a new list of cancellations:

Ridgeland, MS. Fees rolled over to next year.

Naples Downtown cancelled

Woodlands, postponed

HA Juno Beach cancelled

HA Punta Gorda cancelled

Rio Grande cancelled

The Smithsonian Show postponed

Winter Park cancelled

This may be an incomplete list. ZAPP has sent out a complete list so far. I assume everyone will get that email.

From a Facebook Post, Sugarloaf show in Oaks, PA rescheduled:

Zapp has a list of cancellations.

The ZAPP list is a good resource. To add to our information, as expected, Sugarloaf announced this morning that it's rescheduling its March show at the Dulles Expo Center to late May.

An email to exhibitors was provided:

Dear Exhibitors,

Health and safety are of primary importance to us all. Given the developments in the COVID-19 situation, Sugarloaf Crafts Festival is following government requirements in regards to public events. The festival originally scheduled for March 27-29 in Chantilly, VA has been rescheduled. Sugarloaf Crafts Festival at the Dulles Expo Center has been rescheduled for May 22, 23 and 24, 2020

We know this is an unexpected change of plans and may cause some disappointment. But, we must do what is necessary for the safety of our communities. Let's all look forward to a safe and healthy show later this spring.

Your paid space fees will be applied to the rescheduled dates and you will not need to submit a new application for this event. If you've purchased exhibitor ads, you will see them running during the rescheduled dates. We will be promoting this event with gusto through a myriad of channels. Your loyal customers in Northern Virginia will be excited to see you and ready to shop.

More information on the rescheduled event will be coming soon. As soon as we have any information to share, we will do so without delay.

We remain committed to providing you with a special community and a thriving marketplace to sell your goods. We appreciate that these schedule changes may cause stress and frustration. We are a small but dedicated team, and ask for your patience as we tackle the challenges these unprecedented events bring us all. If you have questions, please contact our office for assistance at 301-990-1400 or info@sugarloaffest.com

Best regards,

Scottsdale just canceled during setup. If you are a director and you come to this site, please make that decision before the last minute. It cost those people a bundle in gas, hotel rooms, food, etc. that they could have saved if they knew sooner.

Great job, here, Barry and Carolyn. Thank you. I'm hoping this is the end ... now thinking of the artists out on the road turning around and heading home.

No one was surprised when they cancelled, but we sure were annoyed. In the morning they were saying show is on, then at 3:00 pm or so they cancelled. to their credit, the show CEO took full responsibility, and was extremely apologetic. Oh well, C'est la Vie, when they reschedule I will be back. Several artists I spoke with, they are really hurting financially because of it.

Now, I have the opportunity of time, I can ditch my trailer and artwork, and go explore a few rock collecting locations. Some I have been meaning to explore for the last 45 years or so. Yesterday I went 4 wheeling into one, in between La Quinta and Scottsdale, with trailer and all, and found some great gem cutting material. 30 miles from nearest paved road. Might as well make the best of it! Richard if I were up north i would bug you for some jade locations.

Bayou City Arts Festival in Houston has announced a  postponement of their March 27th weekend event, following on the heels of the cancellation of the Houston Rodeo. The festivals are funded in part by grants from the city's Houston Arts Alliance, corporate sponsorships, private contributions, in-kind support and volunteer assistance, according to the organization.

ACC Atlanta

Naples cancelled their show and are not giving refunds. I find that unconscionable and unacceptable. Everyone should email Maureen Roberts and let her know this even if you aren't doing the show.

If you know of any other show that isn't refunding booth fees please let us know.
