Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

Has anyone done the Hobe Sound Art Festival ?  It also has a craft section which usually scares me away.  It is a Howard Alan show so should be promoted ?

Any info is appreciated.

Hobe Sound is one street with the artists at one end and the crafters at the other end.  There are also local retail businesses at the craft end.  It draws quite a large crowd and there is a bus transporting customers to a parking lot on the outside of the town. Setup is easy as there is a parallel street which you can park on close to your booth to unload.  I did ok last year and I am going back this year to try one more time. The town is the home of some well known people such as Tiger Woods but he didn't come to my booth.  Perhaps this year he will.

Thanks for the info.  What kind of art do you do ?

Metal wall sculptures with copper enamels

I'm sure Tiger will stop by this year. he he

I've never done Hobe Sound so I can't speak one way or another about the show. I can tell you that it is well run, it will be sufficiently advertised, and they get the people to come, as all HAE shows are. So, it is up to you to get them into your booth and make sales.
