What are the best things about art fairs

Getting feedback from patrons on one's work and chatting with other artists.

Best show ever and why

A couple of shows stand out. not that my sales were the highest there. One was a SF Con, where one of my item went to auction and an author and a publisher got into a bidding war for it. Another one was a local Craft Guild show where I was on the wait list. I was going to help a friend set up and watch her booth, when they got word that an artist had had car trouble on the way. Since I was there, I got the chance at the vacant booth. I had about 2-3 hrs to go home pack and set up and be ready for the preview party. I made it and I had good sales and LOTS of compliments.

Worst show ever and why

The show where 1/3rd of the artists left on Sat night, because of no customers.
