Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

We're currently cleaning our studio in a major way to make better use of the limited space we occupy. A spring cleaning that's been going on since January! In doing so, we're coming across things we post to Craigslist, donations for Goodwill or Habitat Restore and etsy. We've opened a site on etsy.com just for this purpose. Supplies are the largest selling item on the site and we're ridding ourselves of stuff we no longer use.

It feels cathartic and is bringing in some money! Yeah!!

Here's to a clean new looking studio - soon!

Good luck.  You are a better person than I.  I have been promising to clean my closet, donate the old clothes and return the stuff from Coldwater Creek that doesn't fit.  (a no time limit return policy allows for massive procrastination).  Will we get to see before  and after photos?

We'll show 'after' photos. The 'before' shots were a bit scary!

I didn't know you could sell supplies on etsy, Pat. How about the url for that so some of us can go shopping also?

I have this rule, when I buy something something similar has to leave. It is only a rule unfortunately.

On etsy you can sell handmade work you've made, vintage items (20 years or older) and commercial supplies.

The URL is : http://www.etsy.com/shop/StudioClearance

Right now there's just a few items. Jons already sold some boxes. More itmes will be continue to be posted.

It's really a great way to 'thin the herd'. I like your mantra Connie- we aim for that too- but it's hard!
