Pipe and Drape Purchase Options?

I've always relied on renting pipe and drapes for indoor shows from the show promoter – however I'm now considering purchasing my own.  I do a couple smaller local shows which don’t offer rental options and sometimes the promoters at my larger shows chose a drape color that just doesn’t go with my product.

I realize there are several options out there – however can anyone recommend a quality product that won’t break the bank.  I don’t mind spending a little more money for nice quality – however I don’t want to spend it unnecessarily either.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

My booth is typically 10' x 10', however occasionally I can only get a 10' x 8'.

  • Thanks to everyone for the information - it's appreciated!

I just placed my order with Georgia Expo - pricing seemed decent and they responded quick to e-mails.  I'll let you know how it goes.

    Thanks again!

  • I got mine from onlineeii.com:

  • Mine, which I've had for 8 years, came from Georgia Expo.

  • I got mine from Premier Table Linens .  (Let me know if the link does not work.)

The drapes I got are found here ... http://premiertablelinens.com/default/pipe-drape.  I got them in "honey."  I got 12 panels, 6'x6'.

I can't find the link for the table cloths I got but they are the ones with the inverted pleat.  I got mine in black but there are lots of color choices.

You can request fabric swatches. There may be a fee for that though.  I don't know because I just ordered them with out getting swathes, didn't have time at the time I was ordering.

Right now there are selected items at 40% off.

I was completely happy with my choices and have been using them almost a year.  I would buy from them again.

  • If you do a search for pipe and drape, there are many companies that sell them.

But if you use a Lightdome (and maybe a Trimline also), you can slide the frame poles within each other to shorten them for indoor use. Then you don't have to purchase piping. Any drapes you use for outdoor shows will then also work for indoor shows. Or just use your plain white canopy walls. Just make sure to carry a copy of your fire retardant certificate because they are much more picky at indoor shows.
