Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

Would like to know if anyone could give me some information on this show in Texas. The area who they draw from and household income. What are your experiences and price points.

I know of someone that will give you the low down. A Texas artist and friend Josh Trefethen) (joshtrefethen@gmail.com) has done the show.My folks live there, the show is around the courthouse square (a very cool layout) , but I am afraid the demographic is mostly from the retired side of the fence with Sun City so close. One the good side, the Monument Cafe has some good upscale diner food. Josh wil set you in the right direction

Talked with some artists that tried this one, and the complaints weren't about the fair per say, just that the sales were disappointing for a $400 booth fee event.

I am a 2D mixed media artist and did the show last year. I made maybe 2000 which was not near enough to cover expenses. Not a huge crowd, great art, a very well run show, but the people were just not there.
