The Omaha Summer Arts Festival is a magnet that draws people together to celebrate art in all of its forms and varied expressions. Its mission is to present culturally diverse, high-quality arts programs, performances and exhibits in downtown Omaha for the general public to appreciate and enjoy.

An experienced staff of dedicated, event professionals produces the Omaha Summer Arts Festival. Members of the Festival's Board of Directors visit each artist individually providing an opportunity for one-on-one feedback and evaluation. We care about the artists, listen to their input and react to their concerns.
The show layout allows every artist to pull his or her vehicle in front of their booth for easy set-up and teardown. Each artist is provided an 11'x11' space with an additional 2'x11' storage area at the back.

I've done this show for years and all I can say is it doesn't get much better than this. Great group of people who truly, truly, want to make this the best show every year. Low space fee, beautiful setting, really cool downtown area, a ton of customers, you name, it has it. And the best farmer's market on Sun that I've ever seen. The main entertainment is "Brule", an Native American group that plays their beautiful music and dances. Massive crowd drawer. Very easy setup and takedown as the police help with making sure the vehicles get moved quickly. I do have to say that I get the most after-show calls at this show-even coming to my hotel - They take their time deciding but do come thru. Just another quick note, last yr the swans on the river right in the middle of the show, were sitting on a large nest of eggs. Each day we watched as the eggs hatched and the babies, think there were 7!, were coaxed into the water. It was the cutest ever! The father was a very tough guy and kept the Canada geese away. However, the Mallards actually seemed to be helping the swans keep the kids from swimming too far away. We all loved it!
