  • Well today at Geneva I try booth number two, By the end I figure that it works but I did not like the feeling. I also remember why I do not use a rug. I got a good problem I need to choose what image I need to take down since I got a better image.

  • Like the second because it is intriguing and pulls me into the back.
  • I would use the top photo for Zapp, set up the bottom photo at the show..  I find that customers like to see something up close before entering the "Buyer Zone".  Have you consider a bit nicer carpeting for the better shows?  That one looks like a $20 piece from Home Depot....

  • Sorry, I didn't see the second photo. I do like it better and do agree about dropping the work down for Zapp. Although for a show I don't see why you can have it double stacked. Seems like lots of photographers and painters do. I agree that no one is going to think you go to a show with this little work, that might work against you with a jury. I do think it is your lights causing the reflections in the photos...

  • For customers, I think the bottom photo is better as it will get people actually into your booth. In the top photo they can see everything from outside without ever stepping in. Just another walk by. I personally would like it better for Zapp too. You might want to adjust your lights for Zapp if you use the top photo.  Annoying that the light is aimed at the camera and maybe your lights are causing the problems with the glare that everyone else talked about. (Or if you are not retaking the photo, photo shop that light out.) I agree about the table in the first photo, take it out. It does draw the eye. Also crop so we don't see the front of your rug curling up, it's distracting. Less work might be better for Zapp... I'm not sure about that. Beautiful selection of work and beautiful work.

  • I took the set up down since I got the Geneva show next weekend. I will see how it comes over there. So far I may use one the prev for the florida shows.

  • Larry has been traveling, Oscar, as we just met up for a few days in Ann Arbor. I'm liking this better, what I think Pam is objecting to is that brown wood that is sticking out behind the middle panel. Doesn't bother me though. I think it is too bare, no one is going to believe you will show up these few pieces. How about on the left hand side on the first two panels move those pieces a little lower and add another photo below the one already on the third panel. Also, you might see how it looks to you with smaller pieces below the large ones on the back panel.

  • and remove what is behind the middle wall if you are keeping the wall.   I too just like the three walls with less..

  • I like less.  I would drop the pictures down from the top of your booth and only have three on the right as it seems unbalanced.   can you do the same on the right as you did on the left?

  • Okay this what did today. I am struggling because it looks bare to me but much better.

Larry Berman please give me your take. I already know that you do not like the middle wall but this may just open better display for sales now that I see it in the screen.
