River City Roots Festival Mt info any body?

I am back from my first two shows... Prairie arts Festival in Schaumburg Il was not worth the drive... did not hear of any artists having a good weekend... some of these Illinois markets seem to be getting a bit saturated. It was very hot an humid which did not help and had some shoppers who stumbled on it by chance... they had not heard any advertising or seen any promotions.

By state I do not mean... as in state of disarray. Is it just me or do other artists find themselves scouring webpages and applications to find out what state some of these shows are in? I just recieved an art show application for a show in Forest Park. Where is Forest Park? Perhaps, if I read it again slowly I will find the information. I realize that I can google the Forest Park chamber and name of the show and eventually figure this out, but am I whining too much by saying… Continue
Is anybody familiar withthe Jacksonport Maifest in Door County or the Prairie Arts Festival?

I am considering applications to either the Jacksonport Maifest in Door County and the Prairie Arts Festival in Schaumburg Ill near Chicago. Both are on Memorial Day weekend... does anybody have any information about these shows?
