"Howards comments about the art fairs becoming "Free Entertainment" in this economy are very true, unfortunately the Fairs are not "Free" for the artists who are paying to be there with the cost of travel, time and booth fees."

- Howard Alan St Armonds Circle -Sarasota Fl around 1995- Sold every piece I took to the show- My husband kept taking them and delivering them as I sold them. Finally had to put a sign on my booth that said "Thank you Sarasota"
- Worst show ever and why
- Everglades City Seafood Festival - Everglades City, Fl in the early 90's. I did not belong at the show- lots of beer drinking partyers- weather turned bad right in the middle of the first day- had to hold my tent down with my body weight- saw two other tents blow over mine thru my skylight.

I am a artist who lives in SW Florida, Naples and I used to do a lot of outdoor shows but now only apply for 2-3 local top shows. If I can get into them- great- if not- I also sell thru galleries and local advertising. The farthest I have ever traveled for a show is around 200 miles. I have most of my family living in the Denver Colorado area and I have gone to the Cherry Creek show for several years. Appreciate the feedback on the Coconut Point show. I think they should cordon off parking for show patrons, but that involves security and buy-in from retailers in the mall.
