- What are the best things about art fairs
- These are where you make your money and get the best exposure. I always have plenty of business cards on the table. People may not purchase the day of the show, but they take a card...that's future business!!!
- Best show ever and why
- It was the first show I ever did. I had very little product, a sad looking booth arrangement and I didn't even have carbon paper for my order pad that I bought so I had to write out all of my orders twice!! Everyone was so patient because of their desire to own a piece of my unique jewelry! They had never seen typewriter key jewelry before. I was a hit. I took almost 50 orders and it was a one day, 6 hour show. They invited me back to their fall show and in a couple of weeks I'll be back again to the Antique show with my new line of key jewelry --authentic skeleton keys!
- Worst show ever and why
- Attended a small annual inside show at a small banquet hall. All of the vendors were senior citizen types and were simply there to set up and then walk around and talk with each other all day, eat the food, and gossip. They weren't concerned with making money. It was pitiful. I didn't even take in enough to make back my booth fee for that day!!!
