I do not think there is a rhyme or reason. I find myself in the same situation now and then. Does not discourage me nor do I take it personal. I just apply again nxt yr. Especailly if the show is worth it.
Application time again
Hello fellow jewelry artists. I have been applying for ten years now to shows, and I am confused as to why one year I get accepted, one year I don't . I mean I get it about different jurors every year, but I actually have been in shows for three years, then rejected for one, back and forth. As you know, this is hard for planning. Do any of you "seasoned" art fair folks have any info on why this happens? My customers complain they can't count on me from year to year.
