"I agree strongly. I was a landscape photog 10 years ago, realized it didn't make me happy or wasn't my best work, so I switched. Now my stuff sells and I'm proud to show it at art shows with great results. "
"Listen to the photographer's here. Choose what applies to your work and throw the rest away. Everyone has an opinion, especially when you're new at it. Keep working on those photos, shoot what you love, know your camera,…"
Welcome to AFI! I really like your work and am thinking about having my son show the train shots to my grandson, who at 16 mos. is already fascinated by trains. We're so happy you found us here and hope we can be of some assistance to you as you traverse the art fair circuit. Please don't hesitate to join in the conversations that can be quite informative and entertaining. Thanks and continued success.
Oh, you're so welcome, Leanne...I loved hearing about how you got started and why, isn't it funny that I thought my grandsons would love to see the train photographs too? Not just trains but Blake, who's 16 mos., loves cars, trucks, fire engines and airplanes! How many grandsons do you have? Blake has a new baby brother who's just six weeks old and that's it for us, so far.
