I AM a fossil-graphic artist, so printing pulls me back even though I am not going to be using it...I'm just not enamored with giclees even though they are definitely a plus if you are doing a well-rounded presentation. The additional level of pricing is helpful...but if you want to 'feel' the texture and bonding of pigment to paper or canvas there's no substitute for a one-of-a-kind.

All have been on my 'list' of to-do's over the years but I haven't made it yet. I think you are going about things in a pretty good way...I personally don't like 1-day shows. I'm usually too far away from home and have to spend two nights since I've advanced in age. I find visitors frequently have too many events to cover in a single day in the larger areas. Also, your comparisons are more obvious if you've done a year of one's before adding longer ones. Of course what you are selling makes a difference, too.

- Julie...Hi, again...How was Art in the Park? My son lives in KC and I wanted to do it because we could just have a good 'day out' with the show and then next day....unfortunately last year I had a show conflict and this year the weather kept me from applying.
