I would be interested in knowing what the mean was for most artist at this show. $2500 for a booth not mentioning hotel and having to deal with the union thing is a big nut to crack. That would be 2-3 of my best piece I'm giving away before I…

What I ment to say or clarify, Is if the jury just omitted an artist WITHOUT putting that artist through the jury process as the rest the artist ,they should be required to send that artist back their jury fee. The artist summited there work , and…

Very interesting review. I had spoken with Jay Downie, via email. We also did not get in. My concern was that myself like most artist spend $1000s each year and get NOTHING but regrettably you're not invited. If one calls or emails the…

This is our 7th year doing art shows. We have been truly blessed to be surrounded by so many interesting and kind people through this journey. Everybody is prone to a bad hair day, best to remember to just grin and bear it, it will get better.

The two police officers we worked with are just fine people. They love thetheirre job and they honestly care for the people they serve. The Memphis Police Department is Number one in my book. It has been an honor to work with.

My wife and I had an eye opening experience the other day. We, as usual got the same old rejection notices and decided to bit the bullet and buy a decent HD projector and look at our pictures the way the judges see them. What we were see on our…

What are the best things about art fairs
The sprite of the whole event, In some cases. The fact that I can talk to a patron one on one and I don't have to give a gallery 35%-50%. Some galleries do earn there commissions and do a great job of promoting the artist. I consider my self a people person, along with my wife Jin. I'm always amazed at what other artist are doing. There are truly a number of bright and talented artist out there.
Best show ever and why
Cottonwood / Richardson,TX and 3 Rivers / Covington,LA
Worst show ever and why
Boulder, Co and Beaver creek, Co In all fairness maybe the 2009 economic climate had a lot to do with the numbers. Maybe I should have put some antlers and buffalo hides on my pieces.
Just kidding.
