John Kennington commented on david addario's blog post Has Anyone had experience with a Vitabri V3 Aluminum pop up tent?
"They are not compatible, but they made a special version of the roof for me with velcro installed opposite, so it would work with the poly walls. They also did that when I ordered the second canopy, since I would need to have it match. I had to wait…"

"A few other comments. To emphasize how happy I am with this tent I ordered a second one in so I can make double booth. They do offer a ran gutter to connect them  Note that the Vitabri, like all these Europeans tents, is 3x3 meters, NOT 10x10…"

"I've been meaning to followup on my post. I ended up getting the nylon Vitabri last Spring, and it worked very well under a lot of extremely intense rain at seemingly every show. But the mother of all storms hit me on Memorial Day weekend, and…"

John Kennington replied to Tony De Masi's discussion Tent Weights: How to Affix to Tent

"David & Josef, I'm seriously considering the Vitabri too, and appreciate your comments on it.  I noted you both got the vinyl top and walls, which is also my preference. But I have one question/concern. How well does the vinyl…"

Pro Panel and Extenders

A few years ago I saw a photographer in Colorado who had used some wide strips of velcro to attach his pro panels to the extenders, effectively making a semi-permanent 9 foot panel. It saved him a lot of time setting up, and helped with his knees, reducing the number of trips up the step ladder. The velcro was maybe 4-5 inches wide, and the real kicker was the back of it matched his panel color. At the time he told me he had found it somewhere, but I did not write down where that was. I would…See More

Lincoln Arts Festival (Nebraska) Info

Posted on June 19, 2010 at 12:16pm 4 Comments

Is anyone familiar with this Lincoln Arts Festival in Lincoln,
Nebraska on Sept 25-26? I have been accepted, but am now wondering if
it is worth the 8 hour drive from Tulsa. I'm hoping I can find
out more about it before I fully commit and pay my booth fee.

Thanks,
