Thanks for your reply. I'd feel obligated to pay the percentage, too, but I wish they'd be a maximum which would make it easier to figure expenses. Also -- it looked like some of these shows had really high Zapplication jury fees…"

I was looking for some juried shows in California on Zapp and noticed that some charge a lower booth fee but require a percentage of sales as part of the vendor fee. I guess this would be good if sales were low. But does anyone know if there is a max as it could be costly if sales were high (usually a good thing). Has anyone done such shows and what were your experiences with this kind of show?See More

- Chimneyville, Jackson, MS. The Craftsmens' Guild of Mississippi is a wonderful group to work with, the show is inside, it's well organized and advertised, and the customers are there to buy fine art.
- Worst show ever and why
- Shows associated with church groups and their annual fairs. People are there to socialize and not to buy art.
