Climate Change Affecting Outdoor Art Shows?

Posted on November 30, 2010 at 12:28am 4 Comments

That's the title on a Nov 2 article on the Huffington Post. Can't believe I was on the Huffington Post but saw it after I googled 'cleaning trimline canopy' triggered by a question from Josh over in the discussion section on how best to clean a canopy. Up pops this item. Turns out to be a pretty good article for anyone considering changing canopy types.

Estes Park CO Fine Arts Guild show Sept 18-10

Posted on September 21, 2010 at 11:18pm 1 Comment

This was my second show of substance this year. Here's my experience.

Setup was pretty easy but the parking around the park in the center of town is a challenge. Being new at this it is very much a group effort. Worked much better at teardown on Sunday.

Weather was…

My first outdoor show Windsor Colorado Fine Arts Festival

Posted on August 1, 2010 at 9:47pm 2 Comments

Setup was Friday and I didn't arrive until about 5:30pm. Folks there said that a gust front had come…
