Just got back from Chicago last night after doing thge above listed show.  Show is in downtown Arlington Heights on the two main cross streets.  Easy  set up and tear down.  Can drive right to your booth.  Set up is two flights, one for each side of the street.  Allows first flight to get in, unpack and park before the second flight.  Parking very close by.

Second year for Barrington. May 28-29.  Great potential for the show. Saturday, weather threatened all day but no rain.  Threat apparently kept people away. Sunday started off cloudy.  Amy came around at 11:00 am.  Said no time to tear down, just buttom the hatches since severe weather headed our way in next 30 minutes and then sunny skies within an hour or so.  Storm hit at 11:15 severe rain, lighting and 50 mile hour winds.  Some damage to tents but not too much.  Four hour later, rain…

I did six of Amy's shows last year including Art at the Glen, Port Clinton, Gold Coast, Esat side Milleniuum, Barrington, and Arlington Heights.  Her shows are very well run.  The booth fees are a little high but no worse than the good shows in the east and many shows in Florida.  Art in the Glen sales were almost double last year for us.  East Side Milleniuum is a great show for sales if the weather holds.  Next to Grant Park with all the high rise apartments and businesses.  Many…

Show is prodiced by Craft Producers the second weekend in October for three days with setup on Thursday. Held at Top Nothc field which is just a large field about two miles west of 'Stowe. Nasty weather Thursday with heavy rain with small hail off and on. Large indoor heated tent for approximately 100+ artists. Remainder outside. Weather was cold Friday and Saturday but nicer on Sunday. Heavy rain all night Friday just after show closed. Field dried out and mulch was put down in wet areas so…

My director chairs I have been using for twenty years are worn out. I have seen several artists with nice heavy wooden framed chairs and padded seats. They are not the x crossed leg directors chairs but four legged straight or slightly curved leg type. Can anyone tell me where to find them? Have searched on line but apparently not under the correct description.
