- MAIN ST Fort Worth Arts Festival 2009 - impeccably organized, a "fantasy" public, and sales through the roof.
- Worst show ever and why
- Old Town San Diego Arts Festival 2008 - not because of the show itself, not because of the promoter -- none of that. It was simply the weekend after the Lehman Brothers debacle. No one came; those who did seemed "zombified." A close second would be the 2008 Sedona Arts Festival -- same reason, different financial trauma though -- I think the stock market had hit 6500 or something like that.

Robin Miller said… - About the Highlands show in the Philadelphia area: I didn't exhibit there but I visited last year, was considering applying - I know it's coming up very soon. It's a high-end show, very high quality crafts, lots of wearables - my only concern is that the location is a destination in itself - not someplace you would just happen to pass by and decide to visit. Even if you lived in the area you might have to use a GPS to find it. Some of the jewelry designers were moaning about disappointing sales, though people selling $500 jackets didn't seem to be complaining!
