- First show ever
- I've done several crafts fairs over the years, but haven't been in a juried show. My first show was probably in Sioux Falls, SD, back around 1991, selling wreaths and dried flowers. I did a series of shows when I lived in TN around 2003-2004, selling handwoven rag rugs.

- What are the best things about art fairs
- Seeing all the creativity on display. Also visiting with artists from all over the country.
- Best show ever and why
- A Christmas show in Dickson, TN. Good crowds and good sales. Very well-run operation.
- Worst show ever and why
- A show in Columbia, TN. There were people selling SOCKS there, for God's sake! Had to buy a city business license for $50. What a rip-off. I didn't sell a thing. Then the police had locked down the town square so I couldn't bring my car up to load up after the show. I had to haul everything down a DARK scary alley to get to my car. What a nightmare.
