Opinion on only selling originals vs. giclees and prints

I have many artist friends who sell their original pieces but also sell giclees and prints. I have my originals in a local gallery and I'm thrilled but sales are very slow and I am interested in feedback from artists who sell both. Some artists think it cheapens the original, others say not true. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.See More
