Quick review of the Traverse City, MI art fair on July 30, 2011.
Hot.
Low Traffic.
Broke even.
Want more details?
OK.
This show is held on a small college campus in Traverse City. (Northwestern Michigan College)
It can be a long dolly to bring in your stuff. (It was for me)
The location where the show is held is tucked away in a wooded area that is not visible from any normal tourist traffic. I had a difficult time finding the…

I thought I'd share with everyone something that nobody but the artist gets to see when creating marquetry (wood inlay) artwork... the way the picture magically changes when you apply the first coat of finish.
The video is included below...
Background info: My work is made of hand cut pieces of different exotic woods from around the world fit together to form a picture. There is no stain or dye used... I use only the natural wood colors and grain patterns. The true art of…

Just did ART RAPIDS! show in Elk Rapids, Michigan. This show is a roll of the dice. This is a small town show, but the people who attend have disposible income to spend on art. It's just that some years they will spend it, and others they don't.

Hi Charles, I have to plead ignorance with your question. I've never heard of a pci fee. What exactly is it.? But, I can tell you this, with GoPayment you don't have to worry about any hidden fees whatsoever. Starting this month, you can choose between the no monthly fee plan with a 1% higher rate or the $12.95 a month plan with the 1.7-3.7% rate. And that's it! No set up fee, no cancellation fee AND no contract. Tell me what type of smart phone you have and I will send you one of the new free card readers. If you go with the $12.95 a month plan you get 2 months free anyway. So you can 'test drive' it and not have any money invested except for the % rate and .30 transaction fee .I recommend the 12.95 plan if your avg. credit sales are over $1500.00 a month. You'll save money that way.
