"Hi..yes I have done a few plein air paintings (I painted my way through Europe backpacking one summer..it paid for a lot of wine and youth hostels...)the secret is keep it light simple and compact..I suggest the Cotman field box with 1/2 pan…"

"a little tip...cheap joes sells a set of small misting bottles in a holder...add some watercolor to each bottle and you have a color mister..great for skies or wet-in-wet applications"
