- Making money, and then meeting the people, both artist and customers.

- My first real juried art show was Portside Art Fair in East Jordan, Mi I was still doing local A&C shows and a member of the Portside show seen my art and told me that he had juried me into the show all I needed to do was show up, and I have been hooked on fine art shows ever since.
- Worst show ever and why
- Riverbank Art Fair, Iowa City, Iowa 2009 The student arts council were the organizers, and it was painfully obvious that none of them had ever done an art show and there were no business majors in the group. They had parking meters for the customers and the campus cops were busy all day long giving out parking tickets! Just about anything that an artist could think of as a problem except for weather was bad.
