Scotts Valley anyone?

I'm in and wondering what to expect. I know that each show is a roll of the dice and the success is dependant on so many factors. Just wondering if any of you have any input on this one. Where to stay is also a question.Thank you. See More

Summerlin Fine Art Festival

Posted on September 28, 2011 at 2:13am 19 Comments

Saturday was stressful with minimum sales and a storm that came and went. Sunday went much better with a large sale and better weather. The organizers seemed accommodating although they fell short on a few things, I could see they were trying to make the participants feel respected. The event was visited by locals rather than tourists. Lots of children and lots of dogs. Friendly folks out for a sunny day in the park.

All in all, I'd say it was a good event, ( but it's relative based…

I really like your work, i think the colors would go great in AZ, Another show you may want to try is the scottsdale show which is a fine art show in march i think it is the third weekend. also the tempe arts festival at the end of march. I was told to stay away from Thunderbird artists, by someone who used to do her shows, they have really gone down I met two artists in la jolla and they told me this. Fountain Hills is another show not on Zapp that might be a good show. The other thing is if you have a dolly bring it for summerlin. A fan might help as well, Battery operated. I got one that has a ryobi battery. if you have a friend in las vegas see if you can stay with them. I usually for this show stay with a dancing friend, but hotels are hurting in vegas so who knows.
