I am going to need a White 10 x 10 Tent at some point and wondered what brand or company offers good quality tents.  Also any other suggestions on setting up a nice booth space?  This is new to me.  So what types of hooks or hangers, type & size of signs, Comfortable Chair to take to show, etc, etc?

Hi:

After many attempts, I am not being successful up loading two photos for an art tent I want to sell. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

I am interested in your tent. I just lost a tent at a show two weeks ago and I'm in need of a new one. Andrea

I don't know if I am posting this in the right place, but here goes!

I recently purchased a Light Dome tent, pro-panels, and everything that one could possibly need to get started in the art show circuit.  Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I will be unable to do art shows.  As soon as I am able, I will set up the entire display.  Everything is in excellent, practically new condition.  I purchased all this in Feb. of this year from an artist who was retiring from art festivals.

I live in Inverness, Florida and if you are interested in seeing the equipment or have questions, please contact me.

I have a Rio Grande Hot Spot jump ring soldering machine.  I do not use it.  Is there any jeweler out there that could use this.  Will let is go for $150.00 and that includes shipping.  It's in excellent condition and used maybe 4 or 5 times.

I make jewelry and most of my jewelry does not look good laying flat for pictures.  Sometimes my bracelets just do not look right just sitting on glass.  Is it ever acceptable to use a neckform or a model to use in jury photos?

Question,  I am in need of clear envelopes and backing boards for prints, various sizes.  Does anyone have a recommendation on who to order from? Steve

Greetings Insiders!

I have a list of art fair questions on various topics, and would like to post the list somewhere, but which discussion would be best for a list?

Good morning! Thanks for allowing me to sign up. I started making jewelry and other larger pieces in 1992. Went to college for sculpture and printmaking. Then took my first jewelry class at MICA in 2000, plus started teaching Chainmail jewelry in Baltimore, MD. 2016 will be my first year as a full time crafts person. I have ver seldom done shows, once a year on average.

Thanks again, I'm looking forward to getting as much advise as possible,
Patrick

Eileen - yes it does matter the color of your tent. Just think about that blue tent and what it makes your work look like? or a striped one -- think about sunshine and the light on your work ... there is a reason most everyone has a white one.

Appreciate the critiques on AFI regarding art shows, this helps in determining whether to do a show or not.
