So sorry you have "Painters Block" - I've never experienced it. I have been "stuck" once a painting is started - typically I go through a period when I don't like it or don't think it will turn out well. It's at about 70% done. But I usually get past it, and by the time I'm done I'm happy with it.
I paint from a lot of photographs or images that I have either taken or cut out of magazines, calendars etc and keep them in a drawer. When I'm ready to paint I take out the whole stack and pick one...it has to "speak to me" and off I go. If you are feeling under "pressure" because you have new shows...perhaps take some time away from the paper....think about subjects that you are passionate about or images that speak to your "soul" and it will come!
Hope this helps, let us know!
Carol
