Here is a piece I made with copper grounding wire ,concrete tie wire and my lampwork beads.  I'm trying to decide if I like on black or white better.

I have a TON of polyester table cloths and other linens discarded from a rental linen company.   Some of the table cloths are outdated, other damaged or stained.  Have used them for some of our solar powered Bubble Tower designs. BubbleTower.com   BubbleTower.com  If you need fabric, check out your local banquet linen rental company.

Awesome Meredith, Sandy and Bill!  I keep experimenting with upcycling all the time!  I will post some pics soon.

Hello Upcyclers!  I make children's clothes using recycled vintage chenille bedspreads. My biggest problem is I don't know when to throw away a scrap!

I upcycled the dried acrylic paint from the palette of the artist to make my jewelry pieces, called Parts of Art.

Hello Upcycle'rs. Just about everything I do is upcycle. I find unususal life forms in a pile of rusty junk metal. My picture is of my first born son, who sadly lost his head on the way to a show. Lots of people liked him, but he was more of a noveltie than a sellable piece so he never got a new head, and later the rest of his body parts was upcycled into other art. I will have to post a photo of him when he was whole. I use found metal objects to weld into sculpture. Flying pigs are my primary seller made from freon tanks that are a one time use metal container and the wings are made from the skin of washers and dryers that no longer work. I use lots of old shovels for many other creatures such as fish, birds, frogs, crabs. old army helmets make great garden turtles.

Hi Sandra,
Both my husband and I create art with things that might be thrown away. I make jewelry with things like bottle caps, poker chips, buttons, broken jewelry, keys, bolts, etc. My husband makes things out of wood like picture frames from old barn wood or other wood that he has salvaged from construction projects. He also just picks up misc. junk and makes sculptures. I love this kind of art!

I use copper wire left around by my husband, an electrician, and other wire.
