Hi everyone, I just got my state of California seller's permit for selling as an independent artist. I have an option of attending a class, which I will do, but won't be able to until after a show I have coming up (my first!).
Why have I seen on some show/fair applications a link to get a temporary permit? Now I'm fearful I need to get one for each show? Am I going to have to pay taxes to the state and each city/county?
I chose start date May 31, 2017, and that's the only date I see on the permit...is this for ONE DAY ONLY?? There is no expiration date.
I'm confused and can't seem to find answers online. I've searched google and this website.
