We applied to several Florida shows but either didn't get in or were wait-listed. Now we're trying to decide whether we should apply to the Downtown Naples show that takes place March 24 - 25. Has anyone out there done it? I can't find an exhibitor list for 2011 and can't seem to find a review of it on the Art Show Reviews page. Please let me know!

I'll be at the Pigeon Key, Marathon show on Feb. 11 & 12, and the Key West fine arts show on Feb. 25 & 26. As always, trying to make a few $$ while thawing out for a couple of weeks. No matter how the shows go, at least I won't be shovelling snow in Northern Indiana!

I'll be at Gasparilla in Tampa March 3 and 4th.  Still waiting for results for Mainsail in April in St. Pete.

I am waiting on Mainsail St. Pete and Gasparilla (as Emerging Artist). I'm not holding my breathe though. I have gotten into all of the Howard Alan shows I've applied to, but I'm trying to stay closer to home in Tampa Bay.

As of now, I'm doing:

February 11-12 Osceola Art Festival (Valencia Community College in Kissimmee)

February 18-20 St. Stephens Art Show (next to Coconut Grove for $300 less dollars :-)

Feb. 24-26 Gainesville Fine Arts Association Winter Show (Only $125 for booth fee!)

March 3-4 Waiting on Gasparilla, if not, may do the Bartow show

March 16-17 Key Biscayne

March 24-25 Hyde Park Tampa Bay

March 31-April 1 Tarpon Springs

April 7-8 Jacksonville

April 13-15 50th Annual Delray Affair

May 12-13 Pensacola Museum of Art Fair (Waiting for this)

After not going back to Florida since my experience at Coconut Grove in 2008 (we were neighbors, Barry), I am giving it another try. I will be at Coconut Grove and Naples National. Crossing my fingers...

Yeah, 2008 was a nightmare on so many levels.  It's been better since then.  I'm sure you will do OK.  Make sure you aren't in that same area again.

Is anyone familiar with the Jacksonville Fine Art Festival March 24/25? It's in the Avondale neighborhood along the river which should be a nice location. This may be only the 2nd year for the show. It's inexpensive, would be an easy drive from Atlanta and give me a jump on the spring season. Thanks.
