Under the Oaks

8 hours after break down I'm still scratching my head on this show patrons hard to call them customers because buying was less then stellar. They seemed interested at times but most times just casually walking through the park . I  told my neighbor they seem to be talking about art they just weren't buying art . It seemed some had good show kudos to you but alot of artists I talked to said sales were way down .My first sale avg time was 3 hours after opening each day I could have slept in especially with the time change.I look at shows if everyone sold and I didn't then I just didn't connect but this crowd did not seem to connect with many .In 4 years this may be the strangest crowd I've seen .The show  is well run easy set up and breakdown staff came around for breaks.they got the people there. .I'm still scratching my head .

  • And that show is ranked in the top 200 in Sunshine Artists Magazine.  What do you think about that?

What kind of art work did you see walking past your booth?

What about next year?  Will you give it another try?

    • There's nothing about the show not to do good. Maybe a flat year but Fla. has been down for me all winter.  Not much mostly matted prints and Maybe to fresh in my mind LOL.
