Anyone here going to Three Rivers in Covington, LA this fall?  I know some of y'all have been because I read the reviews.  Any advice for someone who will apply for the first time?

I do have one specific question.  I have a booth shot but it has my banner hung in it with my name on it.  Can I photo shop the banner and still have an eligible booth shot for this show?

  • Three Rivers was my best show last fall. I agree take a new photo you have plenty of time.

    • I do have a new set up with a photo but we put the banner in without thinking about applying to shows that ask for no identifying banners, signage, etc.

  • hello Cindy,

Three Rivers is a good show. My wife and I have done it several times. The promoters treat the artists very good and the sales have been good for us. It is also close enough that we can drive home each night instead of hotel expenses.

If I were you I would do a new booth shot instead of photo shopping your old booth photo. It is always good to have an updated booth show and our booths, like our work usually improve and change.

I am in the process of redesigning my booth and I feel it is worth the time to do so. Besides, the enrollment period for Three Rivers hasn't even started yet.

    • When do they put out the apps?

      • I received an email saying they will start accepting in Feb. but I don't think the due date is until May or June.

        • Okay, that will give me time for a new booth shot, sans signage.  Thanks.  I will keep looking at their site for an app.
