Sara,
I found a website called festivalnet.com it has a list called 160 things to bring to your art or craft show. I found things I never thought about bringing on the list. Check it out.

One thing I always carry in my show tote box is.- - - Painters Plastic.
You know the cheap, flimsy, drapey (is that a word) clear plastic you throw over your furniture & floor when you paint your walls? That stuff.
Take along a few clothes pins to attach it to your grids, canopy frame, etc.
I buy it by the roll at Home Depot. Roll off a few different lengths, cut it and put it into a large plastic bag for safe keeping, and into the box it goes. It stays clean, takes up minimal space, and weighs nothing.
But in a rain storm, or if your canopy leaks, or a dust storm it is a life saver. It falls and drapes around the grids, tables, etc perfectly. I throw it away after I use it and start the next show with a new batch. Some of the heavier tarps are difficult to get up and out and onto the product quickly. Painters Plastic works for me. If I think it is going to rain over-night, I pull it out and protect my products. Better safe than sorry :-)
It has been a life saver for me more than once.
