Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

Can anyone comment about the Sugarloaf Craft Festivals along the Eastern Seaboard states? Particularly MD and PA.

Although there's two very close to us (Northern VA), we don't do them. Reasons are:

- One is held in a dusty fairground.
- The managers really want you to do more than just one or two of them.
- We'd rather do outdoor shows and save the booth fees.

Everyone we've talked to who have done them have said they were very well managed, but expensive. We know several folks who did them for a while, but discovered more profitable shows elsewhere.
Thanks Walt. I usually prefer indoor fairs myself, since I do works on paper. I'd still like to hear from someone who has done the shows in Oaks and Timonium in particular. I plan on visiting the Oaks show later this month.
