Roxie Dalton - Rest in Peace

My dear friend Roxie Dalton died on June 9 in a hospice in Kalamazoo, MI, as the result of a stroke in April. Roxie was one of my first friends in this business. She could do it all: paint, sculpt, draw, create all kinds of wonderful things. Hanging over my desk is a 14" silver mylar angel she sculpted to watch over me.

She was married to the very popular sculptor Sonny Dalton. At first he went to shows with her and was her roadie. Then he started creating sculpture out of found brass objects and his work was so popular that Roxie became the roadie. Together they were so much fun, our neighbors at shows and traveling companions from Miami to Denver. I'll always miss her.

Much love to their daughters Amy, Julie and Jenny.
