Pro Panel and Extenders

A few years ago I saw a photographer in Colorado who had used some wide strips of velcro to attach his pro panels to the extenders, effectively making a semi-permanent 9 foot panel. It saved him a lot of time setting up, and helped with his knees, reducing the number of trips up the step ladder. The velcro was maybe 4-5 inches wide, and the real kicker was the back of it matched his panel color. At the time he told me he had found it somewhere, but I did not write down where that was.

I would now like to do something similar, since it would be significantly cheaper than getting custom 9 foot panels from Pro Panels. Has anyone else done this, or know of a source for such velcro strips?

Thanks!
