  • I designed and made, my own. It consists of LED strips putting out 6,600 lumens in the 5,500k range. It is weatherproof, 12vdc. Runs the length of each wall. Powered off any of... deep cycle battery, car "bump box" AC. With dimmers. I can run almost 2 full days before recharge. Really need to recharge each night, for full use. It blends with tent. Offset from wall about 2'. Many other artists have loved it. The batteries are very heavy. I could go lighter but costs go up a lot. Just waiting for the battery market to evolve.
Takes less than 10 minutes to setup each time. Complete setup packs up into a tube 5" x 63" with an extra box approx 4" x 9" x 9" plus batteries.
I am working on a regulator to allow it to run from a solar panel. I can charge the battery from solar cell, however this model bump box will not charge while supplying power.
    • Wow! Would love to see that ! Hanks for the reply.
      • I'm on the road. When I get back, I'll set it up and send you a picture.
I'm still tweaking the design but it looks good. People don't notice it at all, yet it throws a lot of light where needed.
The whole thing is very light... except the batteries.
        • I'd love to see it also. Am on the hunt for better lighting for my tent. Thanks.

  • Dh just ordered these and we expect them in today.  We have not added lighting to our booth before.  I am anxious to see the difference.

    • Do you think they will put out enough light?
      • Not sure.  They just came in today.  We will have to try it.  We ordered one of each.

  • Get the small clamp lights. You can get them at Lowes or Home Depot. Here's a link to see what they look like:

I would clamp three or four across the front of the booth pointing inside towards the sides and back.
