inexpensive reproductions....
I was wondering what the least expensive way to reproduce watercolor paintings would be.
I am a woodworker, so I don't know much about the painting world.
But, my mother-in-law has been doing watercolors for a few years now and was thinking of doing one or two local shows and selling her work.
Can you just make copies of your work using your own inkjet printer on watercolor paper, or is that not done?
I know you can have giclee prints made of your work... where is the least expensive place to have them done?
Just trying to find the most economical way for her to get started selling prints.

A Giclee is an ink jet print. Either scan the painting or photograph it with a high megapixel camera so you have enough information in the digital file to make a high quality print. You first need to decide what size you will be reproducing the images. If no larger than 8x10 you only need a file 3000 pixels long dimension. Figure on 300 pixels per inch to do the math.
