Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals
This may be an odd question, but I'd love to hear people's responses. If you could only do 1 show this year (let's assume you would get in no problem), which would it be. Why, etc., and doesn't matter if you've never done it before....
For me, living in Canada, I would pray to be able to do the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition again. The crowds were amazing, people were absolutely there to buy art, and no quibbling about prices. Also, after having a great show, there was so much unique art that I've not seen before to consider purchasing. Another huge plus is that this show is only $350.......a bargain price compared to some of the other shows in Toronto.
So.....anyone else? Doesn't matter where the show is.....we might find about shows we never knew about, etc. Also, might find out about an advantage that we never considered...
Looking forward to hearing from you.....

(I think I was at the Philadelphia Museum show about 12 years ago, it was wonderful)
Permalink Reply by Joel Hunnicutt on January 26, 2012 at 7:12pm I will echo Cherry Creek. Wonderful show and a week in Breckenridge when it is over. I have done several that I really liked but for me this one is tops.
Hi Sue!
I would love to be accepted back to Lake Front Festival of Arts in Milwaukee, WI.That was , twice, my best show. I was never accepted in to Chery Creek fest and that would be my choice as well,
regards, Ana

In addition, there is no contact info (just a broken link) on the festival site. Do you have any info for them?
Permalink Reply by Amy Ikenn on February 1, 2012 at 12:27pm Never Mind - the jury was in November, that's why i cant find them on Zapp.
Zapp have them listed, but deadline was long time ago so they are not there anymore, till next jurying. You have to be able to find that show, it is organized by their museum of fine art, so that may be the way.
