Hi everyone! I have a quick question... I will be the featured artist at the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fest. I will be the featured artist for The Guild quarter of the show. That means I will have my painting on posters and t shirts that are sold at the event, as well as on the cover of the event guide that is handed out to the shoppers entering the fest.

Here's the kicker- this is only my third fest!! So, aside from being terrified, I have a few questions.

1. How many original paintings would you suggest I bring?

2. How many prints would you suggest I bring?

If anyone has any answers to these questions I would really love the help. I feel really overwhelmed!

I am attaching a pic of the painting that was chosen for the posters and t shirts, just for fun:)

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

  • Congratulations. Any other show and it would be an easy question to answer, but with the potential amount of people you will see over the four days, one can only speculate.

What you can do is fill your booth with originals and bins with reproductions and take orders when you sell out of reproductions. Make sure to have an easy way for people to give you their information when ordering and not take up too much of your time or booth space.

    BTW, it's reproductions, not prints.
