Our home is in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, although we lived in Milwaukee for many year.
Although I was an art major back in college (weaving, ceramics), I never graduated or did anything professionally with my art. I'm retired now, but past careers included long stints as a museum gift shop assistant manager and a preschool director and parish educator for a church. I love working with children and art, and know that creativity lurks in every heart somewhere. One of my volunteer projects is being the craft director for a local Vacation Bible School that has several hundred children attending. I enjoy creating large cooperative craft installations for these children to take part in.
This site is very helpful and informative. Many of the posts have started some lively conversations in our home. I'm looking forward to being part of this online community.
