Estes Park Art Market, 2017

My first show of the summer Colorado season is under way. We knocked 30 minutes of our normal 8 hour set up time, then kicked back on the deck of our cabin and wath clouds boil up above Longs peak (14,255') and Storm Peak (13,327'). We saw lots of old friends and Jean said we are "all a little grayer". I'm looking forward to meeting Barrie Bryant from Wyoming tomorrow. Note on travel expenses: We have found it is economical to rent condo or cabin in resort areas and eat in. The cabins in Estes park were built in the late 19th through mid 20th century and they are unique and charming. There are few of the modern condos like you find in the ski areas but some are being built. We are staying in "Mabel's Cabin" built around 1930. The family built their fist cabin here in 1900 and the kids, including Mabel, built cabins later. There have all the modern conveniences.
