Hi,

I love this site -I have learned so much from many of you. Thank you in advance!

While I am not asking about the booth shot just yet, I am asking about booth layout. I love my new, custom set up.....it works great. I am still tweaking it. I welcome your comments - both positive and constructive (can we please get past not having table covers? They are so outdated in my humble opinion). Two things that jump out for me are the too small of a picture (and placed too high) and the lack of flooring. I will address those. Otherwise......have at it my art fair friends.

Best,

Dawn

  • I think your booth is going in the right direction.  It is light and I too think that table covers are outdated.

Couple of things that I see that would be a must if this was my set up.  There is no place to store you cash box and other valuables that is hidden.  Another I do not see a mirror?  On a hot day are you planning on keeping the sides up, how does your setup look with the sides down? I see that you are open in the front and one side..what if there is another tent right next to you?  Sometimes another tent distracts your set up.  I personally would show a few close up pictures of your complete work up with non glare plexi-glass or bare....and yes the pictures should be lower and be an attention getter to bring people in your tent. OH, one more thing...it would be really, really cool to have a skinny shelf table under your display frames. Lon and skinny and think that it counter balance the heaviness contrast with the blank bottom.
