DESCRIPTION:The Peoria Art Guild will host the 47th Annual Fine Art Fa
 ir on September 26-27, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Peoria’
 s Riverfront. Rated as one of the top art fairs in the country and 40t
 h on the prestigious Harris List, the Fine Art Fair is the largest com
 munity event on Peoria’s Riverfront with an anticipated 40,000 atten
 dance.\n\n150 fine art fair artists from across the United States will
  exhibit and sell works of art in jewelry, painting, photography, cera
 mics, wood, glass, mixed media, metal and fiber. All artwork is origin
 al and has been created by the exhibiting artist. Through an extensive
  rating process, 120 artists will be invited to exhibit at the Fair al
 ong with 30 artists who were invited to attend as past award winners.\
 n\nKIDS ART FESTIVAL\nThe Kids Art Festival (KAF) has grown to become 
 its own destination event within the Fine Art Fair, offering great “
 make and take” art projects for kids of all ages. All proceeds benef
 it art education programs at the Guild.\n\nJAZZ & GOSPEL\nThe Art Fair
  also supports the performing arts with free hourly jazz and gospel pe
 rformances on the music stage located in the heart of the Fair. All pe
 rformers are local and are among the best in central Illinois.\n\nFOOD
  AND WINE\nLocal vendors are carefully selected to serve food and beve
 rage at the Fair. A variety of top quality wine and beer will also be
