Event Description
Showcasing arts and culture, offering activities and events for all members of our community, and getting together with family and friends for great entertainment is the mantra of this popular metro Detroit festival.
The juried art fair hosts 140 of the nation's top artists ready to meet you at our new site on the streets of downtown Royal Oak.

Sure, if they've been paying attention they all know about it. After all the gnashing of teeth we are hoping that the media will now turn their attention elsewhere...but it is a challenging situation...so many dollars and hard work put on by the ABE staff, the City of Royal Oak and the merchants in downtown Royal Oak...let alone all the others who count on this as part of their annual income. All will be well.

Have any of the juryed artists been notified that Royal Oak has allowed folks to open carry guns to this event? Because there is alcohol being sold it was initially a NO- gun art show(when artists sent in there photos for jurying) but the rules have changed this year. Just curious how artist's are responding to this change?
